Junior tennis camp in Alicante

Intensive Tennis Training Camp and Spanish programme for 2, 3, 4, 6… up to 8 week in July and August in Alicante, Spain for Junior tennis players -men and women- aged 14 to 17.

Spanish and Junior Tennis camp combine Tennis training with professional tennis coaches in a Tennis Academy, Spanish course, plus activities, excursions and trips.

To participate in the Junior Tennis Camp the trainees must have an acceptable tennis level to compete, must be junior tennis players usually playing tennis tournaments or registered in a Tennis Academy.

Intensive tennis instruction every morning with Spanish tennis players from 10:00 to 13:30 (Monday to Friday, 17 hours per week) in a Tennis School with various Tennis training programmes: Development Tennis Camp, High Performance Tennis Camp to prepare junior tennis payers for tournaments.

If players want to, they can take part in tennis tournaments organised by some clubs of the province (Elche, Villajoyosa…) and/or they can also do it in the club itself that may organise 2 or 3 tournaments per month.

Tennis School in Alicante Spain

Spanish or English language course

From Monday to Friday, tennis players have three English or Spanish lessons per day with experienced language teachers.

Spanish course is in small groups with a maximum of 7 students per classroom to ensure that students receive personalised teaching. Although students work on a variety of language skills including speaking and fluency, listening and reading comprehension and writing, the predominant focus is on communication skills.

Residential tennis camp

Overnight tennis players live in 4‐ person apartments with 2 twin ensuite rooms and a small common living area with a small fridge and a microwave. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and internet connection.

It is a modern building with a canteen and restaurant, TV rooms, a computer room, laundry facilities and several common areas to relax as well as a swimming pool.

Activity Programme

Every day after the Spanish lessons from 18:30 to 20:30 and during the week-end, tennis players take part in a varied activity programme supervised by summer camp counsellors:
• games at the beach 2 days per week.
• visits and activities in Alicante : Santa Barbara castle, Crib Museum, Bonfire Museum, tapas dinner...
• Week-end excursions: Amusement Parks such as Terra Natura or Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Valencia...

Transfer and insurance

Junior Tennis players are covered by health, accident, travel and civil liability insurance included in the tennis camp price. If required, participants may take out an optional cancellation insurance policy.

Transfer service from Alicante airport, bus station or train station is not included in the tennis camp price. A representative of the school will pick participants up at the airport and bring them directly to their place of accommodation if chosen.
