The Sea School is opened the whole year round and organises summer camps for children and teens during the summer months, with different difficulty levels. These camps are directed by expert trainers and offer all safety guarantees:

Sailing school

The Sailing school is located to the North of the Alicante bay, just near the Albufereta Beach, sheltered by the sea on a plain sea area. Surrounded by beaches on a safe and quiet bay, the Nautical Club is the perfect place for teenagers to start or continue their relationship with the waves and the wind.

Sailing Club has a long history. It was founded in 1973 near Alicante by a group of enthusiasts of water sports trying to spread their passion for the sea. The Nautical Club is an organisation officially approved by the Sailing Federation and, therefore, it follows the obligatory parameters in training, safety, material, and facilities: a trainer for every seven students, safety boats, own sea area limited by the coastal authorities, different boat types, safety coordinator, etc.

Nautical club has been chosen by the Puma Team of the Round the World Tour Alicante 2008 as the official Sailing school, recognising thus the school’s role in the world of sailing and its work promoting water sports. The Club facilities have showers and changing rooms, activity room, and classrooms for theory lessons with different audiovisual means, as well as café and restaurant.

Spanish or English language course

From Monday to Friday, participants have three English or Spanish classes per day with experienced teachers.

Lessons are in small groups with a maximum of 7 students per classroom to ensure that students receive personalised teaching. Although students work on a variety of language skills including speaking and fluency, listening and reading comprehension and writing, the predominant focus is on communication skills.

Residential accommodation

Participants staying overnight live in 4‐ person apartments with 2 twin ensuite rooms and a small common living area with a small fridge and a microwave. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and internet connection.

It is a modern building with a canteen and restaurant, TV rooms, a computer room, laundry facilities and several common areas to relax as well as a swimming pool.

Activity Programme

Every day after the Spanish lessons from 18:30 to 20:30 and during the week-end, young sailors take part in a varied activity programme supervised by camp counsellors:
• games at the beach 2 days per week.
• visits and activities in Alicante : Santa Barbara castle, Crib Museum, Bonfire Museum, tapas dinner...
• Week-end excursions: Amusement Parks such as Terra Natura or Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Valencia...

Transfer and insurance

All participants are covered by health, accident, travel and civil liability insurance included in the basketball camp price. If required, participants may take out an optional cancellation insurance policy.

Transfer service from Alicante airport, bus station or train station is not included in the package price. A representative of the school will pick participants up at the airport and bring them directly to their place of accommodation if chosen.
