International Basketball camp

International language and Basketball Camp for players aged 14 to 17 who already have experience of playing basketball (minimum 4-5 years).

A completa International Basketball Camp:
- Basketball training sessions in Spanish and English (3.5-4 hours per day Monday to Friday)
- 3 language lessons per day (Spanish language lessons for foreigners and English for Spanish players)
- Day camp or full board residential camp
- Free time activities, sightseeing, beach trips and other excursions at the weekend

Language & Basketball Camp participants will benefit from the highest quality of teaching during their stay, practicing Spanish with native speakers and attending basketball training sessions run by professional Spanish and American basketball coaches.

Basketball training camp

A Development Basketball Camp for players aged 14 to 17 who already have experience in playing basketball (minimum 4-5 years) with a ratio of 1 coach per 6-8 players to ensure participants receive personalised training and support.

An international basketball camp in Spanish and English, with qualified and experienced basketball coaches and assistants from both Spain and the USA.

An average of 4 hours per day is devoted to basketball: basketball lectures, training focused on individual technique, group training and competitions.

Intense basketball training with a variety of teaching techniques is used to achieve optimum results.

Spanish or English language course

From Monday to Friday, participants have three English or Spanish classes per day with experienced teachers.

Lessons are in small groups with a maximum of 7 students per classroom to ensure that students receive personalised teaching. Although students work on a variety of language skills including speaking and fluency, listening and reading comprehension and writing, the predominant focus is on communication skills.

Residential accommodation

Players staying overnight live in 4‐ person apartments with 2 twin ensuite rooms and a small common living area with a small fridge and a microwave. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and internet connection.

It is a modern building with a canteen and restaurant, TV rooms, a computer room, laundry facilities and several common areas to relax as well as a swimming pool.

Activity Programme

Every day after the Spanish lessons from 18:30 to 20:30 and during the week-end, youth basketball players take part in a varied activity programme supervised by camp counsellors:
• games at the beach 2 days per week.
• visits and activities in Alicante : Santa Barbara castle, Crib Museum, Bonfire Museum, tapas dinner...
• Week-end excursions: Amusement Parks such as Terra Natura or Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Valencia...

Transfer and insurance

All basketball players are covered by health, accident, travel and civil liability insurance included in the basketball camp price. If required, participants may take out an optional cancellation insurance policy.

Transfer service from Alicante airport, bus station or train station is not included in the package price. A representative of the school will pick participants up at the airport and bring them directly to their place of accommodation if chosen.
